A Writer's Story

For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to be a writer.

It all began in the third grade, when I was asked to write a short story to present to the class. I rose to the challenge and created a riveting tale that held my classmates spellbound. Encouraged by their enthusiasm, I began to write stories on a weekly basis.

From that point on, I knew that writing was my calling.

As an adult, I became intrigued with marketing and the psychology of selling. I attended Ryerson University in Toronto where I studied both copywriting and advertising. Inspired by the comments of my writing teacher, I decided to set up my own freelance business to write marketing communications for my clients.

That was back in 1995 and I have been writing ever since.

Many things have changed over the years, but the passion and commitment I have for my writing has never waned.

I still believe in the power of words to inform, motivate, and ultimately, inspire us.

I have lived in Phoenix, Arizona and Virginia Beach, Virginia and now live in Toronto, Canada with my husband, two daughters and two dogs.
